Village PM is an independent, Paris-based footwear brand founded by lifelong skateboarders Basile Lapray and Bram De Cleen. The company redefines traditional skate shoes by blending contemporary aesthetics with high-performance rock climbing technology, utilizing features like ultra-grippy climbing rubber and a repairable "Rubber Glove Construction."

The 1.30PM takes the same asymmetrical last and climbing-rubber construction and puts it under a canvas upper — lighter underfoot and a leaner profile, with the lightweight EVA midsole and the precision, support and durability the line is built for.

The 1PM is the shoe that made the brand. Neither vulcanised nor a cupsole, it uses soft, sticky climbing rubber hand-wrapped around the toe and heel — it breaks in quickly, keeps its flick and wears slowly. Asymmetrical lacing runs the length of the foot for a close hold, and a drop-in EVA midsole carries a thick heel for impact with a tapered forefoot for board feel. Embroidered heel tabs, and a climbing-rubber rand wrapped around the forefoot.

The 2PM is the sportier, more technical shape in the range. It keeps the climbing rubber and the asymmetrical fit but rebuilds around them: more padding through the ankle, a reinforced heel cup with a thicker rubber layer and a raised collar, and a squared-off toe box in place of the 1PM’s rounder one. The toe rand is pared back to something closer to foxing tape, and a rubber layer shields the lace eyelets — a direct answer to where the 1PM wore through first.
