Village PM builds skate shoes near Paris around one idea: a precise, asymmetrical fit that follows the real shape of a foot rather than a symmetrical last.
The 1PM is the shoe that made the brand. Neither vulcanised nor a cupsole, it uses soft, sticky climbing rubber hand-wrapped around the toe and heel — it breaks in quickly, keeps its flick and wears slowly. Asymmetrical lacing runs the length of the foot for a close hold, and a drop-in EVA midsole carries a thick heel for impact with a tapered forefoot for board feel. Embroidered heel tabs, and a climbing-rubber rand wrapped around the forefoot.
