KARHU and Engineered Garments Reunite For Their Third Collaboration.
Drawing from KARHU’s rich archive, Engineered Garments founder, Daiki Suzuki, seamlessly merges the iconic Mestari 76 running shoe with KARHU’s cross-country skiing boot, the Sprint, in an eye-catching and asymmetric design. This collection features a more muted, earth-toned aesthetic that honors both brands’ storied history of craftsmanship.
Designed by Daiki Suzuki, the shoe features a unique, slip-on design with a secure cover hook and loop closure system, which is inspired by another 80s KARHU cross-country skiing model.
Both colorways utilize hairy suede and nylon in the upper for a premium finish. Additionally, both shoes have a leather lining, a leather-topped foam footbed with arch support, and collaborative branding on the tongue and footbed.
