Koharu Eclipse is a six base frame construction defining a new approach to unisex sports eyewear. The ergonomic form is engineered to aid ventilation and enhance the field of vision. The 125mm temples are architected for helmet use. Adjustable nose pads and temple tips ensure a secure, personalized fit, reinforced with a grade 2 titanium core in the temple tips for added strength. Our signature D+ therapeutic-grade lenses are crafted from a shatterproof polycarbonate compound. The interior surfaces feature anti-reflective and oleophobic coatings, providing comprehensive eye protection while repelling water and oil. Our D+ Photochromic lenses are rated CAT0-3 and transition from clear to grey in response to UV exposure. In direct sunlight, they reach approximately 20% visible light transmittance within 30 seconds and 15% within 60 seconds. Because the lenses are activated by UV light, they will not darken behind most car windshields or windows, which filter the majority of UV radiation.

This version features our vented lenses made with high-precision and hand finished CNC cutting techniques. Vent cuts are positioned along the upper edge of the lenses creating additional air exchange around the frame—helping warm, humid air escape before it can accumulate behind the lens. This increased ventilation reduces conditions that cause condensation and lens fogging, a principle commonly used in performance eyewear. The cuts serve both as a functional detail and a distinct visual element highlighting the beauty of advanced eyewear technology.

To ensure a personalized and secure fit, the design includes adjustable nose pads and temple tips, with the tips reinforced by a Grade 2 titanium core for added structural strength and durability.
The system is equipped with shatterproof D+ therapeutic-grade polycarbonate lenses, specifically the D+ Black Rose Gradient, which is optimized for trail running and activities with variable lighting.
