[BERGHAUS]

COMPANY INFORMATION

Berghaus is a British outdoor clothing and equipment brand founded in 1966 by two climbers, Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison, in Newcastle upon Tyne. Frustrated by the lack of quality gear available, they began designing and manufacturing their own high-performance products, which quickly earned a reputation for durability and innovation. Berghaus became a pioneer in the industry, notably as one of the first European brands to use GORE-TEX® fabric in 1977 and by developing the world's first internal-frame rucksack, the Cyclops, in 1972.
